March 20, 2020
Following recommendation from Chief Medical officer of Health Dr. David William, the Dryden Regional Health Centre has implemented "essential" visitors only until further notice.
Effective immediately, the Dryden Regional Health Centre will be restricting all visitors to the hospital. This includes the closure of the cafeteria to the public.
Exceptions to allow one (1) essential visitor will be reviewed by the hospital administration in consultation with our Infection Prevention and Control Lead for a patient in labour, a paediatric patient, and any patient at imminent end-of-life.
This means that tomorrow, Saturday March 21, 2020 only approved essential visitors will be permitted to enter the hospital if they successfully pass the screening which is begin done before entering the hospital at the main entrance.
