DRYDEN, ON- Due to significant COVID-19 positivity rates among our staff, and within the community, the Dryden Regional Health Centre (DRHC) is moving into Level 4- RED (CONTROL) of our Pandemic Plan, effective immediately.
Departmental managers are reviewing Pandemic Plans for their areas, and are preparing to ramp down services if required. DRHC will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation in the community and our Hospital and update our protocols as required.
VISITOR RESTRICTIONS: effective immediately, patients will be permitted 1 Designated Essential Visitor who must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, and must pass the entrance screen before proceeding into the building.
Even though many restrictions have been relaxed in Ontario, we implore community members to continue following public health recommendations such as masking in public places, physical distancing and staying home when feeling ill, as we know these are the most effective ways to slow the spread of COVID-19.
Protecting our vulnerable patients and staff remains DRHC's top priority. Thank you for your cooperation and understanding as we navigate these challenges.
