The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-orientated professional:

Registered Nurse,

Operting Room & Surgical Day Care

As a member of a multi-disciplinary team, Dryden Regional Health Centre's Registered Nurses provide comprehensive compassionate nursing care to a variety of clients. As a Full Time Registered Nurse you will provide and co-ordinate nursing care to assigned clients consistent with current Standards of Professional Practice with the Ontario College of Nurses.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Current Certificate of competence from the College of Nurses of Ontario
  • Current BLS, Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Neonatal Resuscitation Provider
  • Completed the Operating Room Techniques Course for Registered Nurses from an accredited institution
  • A minimum of two (2) years Operating Room experience in circulating and scrubbing considered an asset
  • Must be able to be on stand-by
  • Experience working in Emergency, Critical Care and OBS would be an asset
  • Good Physical health
  • Willing to work flexible hours, including days, evenings, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Demonstration of strong nursing practice, skill and judgment
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrated critical thinking, leadership and mentoring skills
  • Must be able to work in a team-oriented environment
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
  • Proven attendance record
  • Able to perform the essential duties of the job
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
  • Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status to be presented prior to hire
