The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with highly motivated, team-orientated professionals:

Temporary Full-Time Nursing Student:

Patient Care Assistant

The Patient Care Assistant is a valuable member of the Team and works under the direction of a nurse and/or Clinical Manager in providing a range of health care services. They participate in the assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of patient care on an ongoing basis, in a team-oriented approach to patient care within the facility.

Requirements:

  • Current enrolment in a Nursing Program
  • Current CPR
  • Must possess excellent interpersonal skills including superior verbal communication abilities
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect

This is a Non Union position. Starting salary is $20.00/ hr. plus 8% in lieu of vacation. Applicants are requested to forward resume and cover letter to: hr@drhc.on.ca
