The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-orientated professional in our Facilities department:

Permament Part-Time Housekeeping Aide

Job Duties:

  • Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, disinfecting and sanitizing floors
  • Cleaning and disinfecting all patient and public bathrooms
  • Maintaining the glass and window cleaning
  • Break down of patient unit; stripping and remaking beds/stretchers
  • Following isolation procedures
  • Collection of trash from all areas, including seperation of and knowledge of handling biomed waste
  • Completing stock and work orders when required
  • Following isolation procedures
  • Cleaning all areas and departments of the Hospital, Dingwall Clinic & Family Health Team

Pre-Requisites:

  • Grade 12 highschool diploma
  • Knowledge and previous experience is an asset
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job
  • Excellent communication and written skills
  • Conscientious with attention to detail
  • Proficient computer skills
  • Ability to organize a daily workload by priorities
  • Ability to adhere to the DRHC's policies and procedures
  • Demonstrates behaviors consistent with the Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behavior
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
  • Proof of Covid-19 vaccination
  • Shifts: Days, Evenings & Weekends
