Casual Laundry Aide


The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-orientated professional:

Casual Laundry Aide

The Laundry Aide provides a clean, safe environment for staff, patients, and the public through the handling and processing of hospital linen, meeting DRHC and infection control standards. Training is provided

Responsibilities:

  • Processing, folding and delivery of linen
  • Inventory tracking
  • Department cleaning

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in Environmental Services in healthcare considered and asset
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a team environment and independently
  • Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
  • Ability to perform the essential duties of the job; some heavy exertion (weight lifted over 40 lbs)
  • Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; accountability, integrity, humility, compassion and respect
  • Proof of full Covid-19 vaccination status to be presented prior to hire

This is a unionized position. Salary is as per CBA; $23.55/hr. plus up to 11% in lieu of benefits. Applicants are requested to forward a completed resume and cover letter to: hr@drhc.on.ca
